MEGAN BOUWMEESTER
Physiotherapist
Megan is a physiotherapist with a Master’s degree from University of Alberta, and is a born and raised Albertan. She is a proponent of lifelong learning, and is keen on maintaining an up-to-date, evidence-based skillset through additional courses so that she can provide the highest quality treatment. When she is out of office, you can find her hiking, at spin classes or searching for the best all-you-can-eat sushi.
Megan has worked for several years in the hospital setting in post-surgical recovery, geriatric care and neurological rehabilitation. She has pursued additional education in concussion and brain injury management, complex care of elderly patients, and treatment of vertigo. She utilizes a combination of exercise, manual therapy and supportive education to allow clients to feel and perform at their best.
